Rizvan Malik – Global Investments rizvan.malik@newstatecapital.com Rizvan is responsible for sourcing global investment opportunities. He started his career as a financial adviser to private & corporate clients before consulting to hedge funds, banks and insurance companies. He has over twelve years experience on the financial markets and actively sources undervalued global equities based on rigid investment principles. He holds an MBA in Finance, a degree in Law, has qualified with the Chartered Insurance Institute and the Institute of Financial Services. Rizvan has been responsible for developing the statistical arbitrage model for the equities trading and over-sees the day to day management of the investment capital ensuring efficiency of the NAV calculations and other reports. Rizvan Mian – Operations rizvan.mian@newstatecapital.com Rizvan is responsible for sourcing private equity and joint ventures. His role involves investment analysis and ascertaining the economic viability of equity investments. Rizvan has been fundamental in shaping the investment strategy. He also heads the escrow facilities for global traders and he is therefore invaluable in defining the compliance and risk procedures for New State Capital. He has a strong background in Islamic Banking and holds a degree in Economics. Majid Latif – Project Manager majid.latif@newstatecapital.com Majid has been appointed as a reporting line and provides project management to the various work streams of the business. His experience spans across blue chip technical consulting, project management and investing, whereby he invested in a software services company which recently sold for $14m. He is also an investor in New State Capital.
